Habitat: Walnuts are native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, including Europe, Asia and North America.

Walnuts are large, round, edible nuts with a hard, smooth, dark brown outer shell. The inner flesh is yellow-brown in color and has a sweet, nutty flavor.
