Alkaline salad

Dr. Sebi was a herbal and healer who focused on healing the body naturally using alkaline foods, herbs and the consumption of natural alkaline water. Dr. Sebi created the ‘African Biomineral Balance’ as an expression of the nutritional guidelines necessary to maintain health. It focuses on a plant-based, alkaline diet and the recommended foods and herbs for consumption is listed on Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide, which some people refer to as ‘Dr. Sebi Food List’. Here is a list of recipes that are Dr. Sebi approved, meaning they only contain ingredients as per his recommendations from the nutritional guide:

1. Green Goddess Smoothie:

3. Tahini Butter and Burro Banana Wrap:

  • Spread Tahini butter on a sprouted spelt grain tortilla, add sliced burro bananas, and fold into a wrap for a quick and energizing snack.

4. Chickpea and Amaranth Greens Stew:

  • Cook chickpeas with amaranth green, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and a blend of Dr. Sebi-approved herbs and spices. Serve over wild rice.

5. Lettuce and Avocado Salad:

  • Chop lettuce and mix with diced avocados, cherry tomatoes, and red onions. Dress with a key lime and olive oil vinaigrette.
